We also reserve the right to terminate service to repeat infringers.
This policy outlines the procedure for copyright owners to notify us of alleged infringement and for content posters to respond to such notices.
2. Our Copyright Policy
It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA. Our response may include removing or disabling access to material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity. As a news and content publisher, we cannot adjudicate complex legal disputes over copyright ownership. We will follow the procedures specified in the DMCA to address any claims.

To be effective, your notification must be in writing and include substantially the following elements (per 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):

- Your Contact Information: Your name, address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address so that we may contact you.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

- Your Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.
5. What Happens After We Receive a Notice
Upon receipt of a proper DMCA Takedown Notice, we will:
- Review the Notice: We will review the notification to ensure it is compliant with the DMCA’s requirements.
- Remove or Disable Access: If the notice is valid, we will act swiftly to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the Content Provider: If applicable (for instance, in the case of user-generated comments), we will take reasonable steps to notify the content provider that we have removed or disabled access to the material.
6. Counter-Notification Process
If you believe that the material that was removed or to which access was disabled is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the material, you may send a Counter-Notification to our Designated Agent.
Your Counter-Notification must be in writing and include the following elements (per 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3)):

- Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which SlotCasinoNews.com may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification or an agent of such person.
- Your Contact Information: Your name, address, and telephone number.
- Your Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, we may, at our discretion, send a copy of the counter-notice to the original complaining party informing them that we may replace the removed material or cease disabling it in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider, the removed material may be replaced, or access to it restored, in 10 to 14 business days or more after receipt of the counter-notice.

8. False or Abusive Notices
